Hello again. in my last blog i wrote about the atmospheric river we all had to endure. Although it's always comfortable to be inside and warm, it's not so cozy outside. As mentioned, a lot of my customers had some emergency things to deal with. I get the concern. A lot of the issues were an easy fix, but water overflowing from your roof can scare people. I'm working outside all the time cleaning out gutters, and when i do, am noticing the leaves are finally starting to drop more quickly.
It is beneficial, (if you have leafy trees around your house), to wait until the leaves have mostly dropped. This will ensure, when the gutters have been cleaned, they won't fill back up again. Generally, you won't need to clean your gutters until next year.
We suggest gutter cleaning once a year for proper maintenance and proper water flow to the ground. This of course varies if you also have evergreen trees near the house. Those types of trees shed their needles for the winter, but also lose their needles all year around. It's now early November and hopefully the trees will have lost their leaves by the end of the month.
Leaves should be gone by end of November.
