As i've noticed the daylight getting very short, i'm wondering if we really need daylight savings time? This practice was started many years ago, and i mean many. Farmers wanted more daylight to plant their crops or to harvest their crops and so this idea was implemented. It seems like a completely outdated practice but we are a people that is slow (bureaucratic) to change.
This is not what i really wanted to blog about but i got sidetracked lol. It's getting colder outside and on certain days i have to postpone my work due to frost on the roofs and gutters. Winter, which is predicted to be colder this year is just a little while away. No one knows the extent of the weather but you can certainly plan ahead for these cold months by getting your eaves cleaned out before the snow and frost comes. This is a sound practice for any homeowner to undertake. I don't want to scare anyone with worst case scenarios but gutter cleaning in the fall is well worth the cost of not having to worry.
