Gutter and roof cleaning

Over the past few years i have been seeing a lot more requests for roof cleaning and maintenance. I've been doing this business for 22years+ and only about 8 years ago i started to clean roofs. i find it a bit puzzling why the roofs were overall pretty good before that. Of course i'm no climatologist but it seems our weather has changed a bit in the lower mainland creating a lot more mossy roof situations. Home ownership requires maintenance. If you see moss and algae starting to grow on your roof it's smart to stay on top of it and spray the roof with moss control. Moss when not remedied can damage roof shingles and then it's a bigger expense to fix.
